PRIMARY FIRE

PASSIVE
You can gain excess ultimate charge, which carries over after using your ultimate ability. Tacticians can charge up to 25% of their next ultimate after reaching 100%.
SECONDARY
Expend battery to fire a burst of healing energy. Heals for 80 HP per burst. Consumes approximately 1/3 of the battery. Medium range hitscan.

ULTIMATE
Fire a massive solar orb that explodes on impact, dealing 50 damage and marking enemies with Solar Burn. Marked enemies explode for 150 damage if they take 100 damage while marked. 2400 point cost.

E
Deploy a solar pylon that autonomously heals the lowest-HP ally within 15m for 35 HP every 0.8s. Pylon has 125 HP and lasts until destroyed or redeployed. 15 second cooldown if destroyed.

SHIFT
Launch yourself in your movement direction, knocking back enemies near the launch point. 7 second cooldown. Can be used for vertical mobility.
PASSIVE
Healing allies with your weapon also heals you. Heals for 40% of healing dealt.

Developer comment: While Illari remains a strong offensive support, Solar Rifle's base projectile size was too large relative to the damage output. Removing the additional base projectile size better aligns the weapon's accuracy with other hitscan heroes.

Developer comment: Illari has been delivering strong healing alongside high offensive pressure. Reducing her secondary fire uptime and tuning down specific perks lowers her overall performance while maintaining her identity.

Developer comment: Illari offers less utility than other offensively oriented supports, so increasing her damage raises her impact and improves her effectiveness when she's positioned well and landing shots.
Projectile size reduced from 0.75 to 0.45.
Developer comment: Captive Sun's projectile size allows it to be intercepted from farther distances than intended. Reducing the hit volume clarifies its perceived size and improves counterplay for enemies.
Resource cost reduced from 100% to 50% of max energy. Healing amount no longer scales with energy spent. Explosion healing is now a flat 100 healing.

Developer comment: Illari's Captive Sun can be difficult to use effectively due to enemies' ability to dodge its effects. Increasing the radius will improve the consistency and overall value of the ultimate.

Developer comment: Illari can deal a lot of damage over the course of a game but may have too much ammo, given that her projectiles are easier to land hits due to their increased projectile size.

Developer comment: Illari will still see this UI alert but allies generally don't need to as it could occur fairly often and be distracting.

Developer comment: Illari's Healing Pylon is intended to be useful for healing her team in relatively safe positions without much focus required, which enables her to either apply pressure with her primary fire or spot heal in bursts from her more limited secondary fire healing beam.
Healing per projectile increased from 30 to 40. Pylon healing is now only half as effective when targeting Illari. Max health increased from 100 to 125.
Primary fire recovery increased from 0.2 to 0.25 seconds. Secondary fire heal-per-second increased from 105 to 115.
Primary fire recovery time reduced from 0.3 to 0.2 seconds. Maximum charge time reduced from 0.7 to 0.65 seconds.
Developer comment: We are adjusting the firing cadence of the Solar Rifle, making it more responsive to use and increasing the damage per second but not the burst damage.

Projectile Impact and explosion are now blocked by barriers. Projectile size decreased from 1.5 to 0.75 meters. Sunstruck duration decreased from 7 to 6 seconds.
Heal decreased from 40 to 30. Shields decreased from 75 to 50.
Developer comment: Illari has had a strong showing since her launch. The following changes are meant to promote a better balance between healing and damage while adding more counterplay against her abilities.
