Death Blossom

Blur of motion dealing 185 damage per second to all nearby enemies within an 8 meter radius for 3 seconds. Locks onto all targets in line of sight. Channeled — interrupted by stuns or hacks. Restores ammo after completion. 2050 point cost.

Developer comment: Part of the reason heroes like Reaper and Tracer had their damage reduced in the past was due to the shift to the 5v5 format—solo tanking and less frequent peeling made flanking heroes more effective—along with their strong performance on certain maps and game modes like Push and Flashpoint. This is now less of a concern with the introduction of map voting and hero bans, which help limit overperformance, so we're restoring some of their damage potency.

To help shift Reaper toward being more effective against smaller targets we're tightening the weapon spread on the Hellfire Shotguns and reducing the amount of time enemies have to react to his Shadow Step teleport.

They are now disabled similarly to Tracer's Recall or Sombra's Translocator, which are abilities that also phase out and can move the player.
