PRIMARY FIRE
Short-range beam weapon with increasing damage.
PASSIVE
Eliminating an enemy briefly increases your reload speed by 33% for 3 seconds. Refreshes on each elimination.
SECONDARY
Hold to charge, release to fire an explosive energy ball. Damage 5-100 direct hit, 2.5-50 splash. Takes 1 second to fully charge. 50 m/s projectile speed. Explosion radius 0.5-2 meters based on charge.

SHIFT
Deploy a small turret that damages and slows enemies. 30 damage per second, 40 health, -15% movement slow per turret, 10 meter beam range. Holds up to 3 charges. 10 second cooldown per charge. Turrets persist until destroyed or replaced.

E
Create two temporary teleporters up to 30 meters apart that enable instant travel between them. 100 health + 200 shields. Lasts 10 seconds. 1 second interact cooldown per use. 12 second cooldown.

ULTIMATE
Deploy a massive 4000 HP energy barrier that spans the entire map (50 meters tall, 484 meters wide). Lasts 12 seconds. Can be placed from anywhere and orientation can be changed. 2025 point ultimate cost.
PASSIVE
Dealing damage reduces enemy healing received by 20% for 2 seconds.

PRIMARY
Short-range beam weapon with increasing damage: 60/120/180 DPS at charge levels 1/2/3. 100 ammo, consumes 10 per second. 12 meter max range. Damaging barriers or shield health regenerates 10 ammo per second and 10/20/30 shields per second based on charge level.

SECONDARY
Hold to charge, release to fire explosive orb.

Hovering Barrier
Teleporter gains the option to create a forward-moving 600 HP barrier instead that travels at 5.5 m/s for 6 seconds. Pressing the ability key again slows the barrier movement.

Shield Battery
Symmetra regenerates 20 shields per second while within 10 meters of her teleporter.
Base projectile size reduced from 0.5 to 0.4 meters.
Base shield health reduced from 250 to 200.
New Major Perk. Teleporter gains the option to create a forward moving barrier instead. Pressing E again slows down the barrier's movement.
Moved to Minor Perk. Now only increases the range of Photon Projector's primary fire by 20% regardless of beam charge level.

Developer comment: Symmetra is exceptionally map dependent, to the point where she is oppressive in certain situations yet ineffectual in others.

Regenerate up to 30 shield health per second when primary fire deals damage to barriers or enemies with shield health.
Ultimate cost increased 10%.

Developer comment: The changes to Symmetra's primary fire will make her gameplay faster by enabling her to charge the beam up to dangerous levels more quickly.

Developer comment: We're reducing the cooldown of the Teleporter to help lower the friction between needing to use it as both a personal and team-focused mobility tool.

Now lasts an infinite duration until destroyed. Players can destroy their own Teleporter. Cooldown starts when destroyed. Maximum range increased from 25 to 30 meters. Destroyed if entrance is more than 40 meters from exit.
Developer comment: Symmetra's Teleporter is an interesting tool but often felt too restricting to use.
Interact range increased from 1 to 1.5 meters.
Railings and other breakable objects no longer block teleporter placement and teleporting.

Developer comment: The goal of these changes is to move Symmetra to her new damage role and make her more flexible and viable across more areas of the game.
