EXTRA
Quick melee deals more damage: 30 impact plus 40 over time for 70 total damage. 3 meter range. Can be cancelled into Drill Dash, Burrow, or Tectonic Shock.
EXTRA
Using abilities grants temporary shields: 25 shields from normal abilities, 75 from Tectonic Shock. Lasts 3 seconds. Maximum 75 shields total. Shields regenerate at 19 per second after 1.1 seconds of not taking damage.

Dash forward 10 meters (15 if underground), pushing enemies back. Deals 30 initial damage plus 60 over 0.4 seconds for subsequent hits. Cooldown accelerated by 90% while Burrowed. 8 second cooldown.

SHIFT
Move underground for up to 4 seconds becoming invulnerable. Emerge to deal 110-75 splash damage in a 2-7 meter radius. +40% movement speed while burrowed. Reloads Smart Excavator on burrowing. Removes most negative status effects. 8 second cooldown starting when cast completes.

ULTIMATE
Send out up to 4 damaging shockwaves that travel 25 meters along the ground. Each deals 130 damage and knocks enemies upward. Lasts 7 seconds. Can still use Drill Dash and Burrow during ultimate. Replenishes Smart Excavator ammo. 2125 point ultimate cost.
PASSIVE
Dealing damage reduces enemy healing received by 20% for 2 seconds.

PRIMARY
Launch a seismic charge that bursts after 16 meters. Deals 35 direct hit bonus + 40-12 explosion damage in a 2 meter radius. 1.67 shots per second, 8 ammo, 1.75 second reload. 50 m/s projectile speed. Knocks enemies back.

SMART Excavator range is increased by 25%.

Developer comment: Venture's shield generation on ability use provides strong and consistent survivability. Reducing the shield amount slightly maintains their gameplay loop while offering more opportunities for opponents to apply pressure.

Developer comment: This change improves Venture's damage output by increasing fire rate, enhancing weapon consistency without increasing the lethality of their combo.

Developer comment: This is mostly a quality-of-life change that makes Venture's cooldown cycle more consistent, as they tend to activate Burrow while soaring through the air quite often.

Developer comment: As a highly mobile damage hero, Venture doesn't need quite as much shield health from their passive as they currently get to be successful.
Cooldown now begins when the ability is used. Cooldown is no longer decreased by half when used underground. Cooldown is accelerated by 90% when underground.
Developer comment: As we continue to monitor Venture's gameplay throughout their release Season, we are making a change today that adds more flexibility to using Drill Dashes.
